Congratulations to the Squadron’s Inness Sword team, who have brought home silverware for the first time in memory from London Wing’s premier military skills competition. A shared lead of the navigation exercise helped the team to a creditable 13th place overall.
While this was just outside the top ten target we’d set, it was a huge ten place jump up from last year, with big areas to work on. The team have been training hard from January, with an intensive series of events and programmes designed to build their skills and communication abilities. A superb effort by the team saw them finish seventh in the Obstacle Course, and fourth in the Stretcher Run and Archery respectively.
Well done to Cadet Warrant Officer Tomlin and all his team – and the reserves who trained alongside them – a hard earned step forward in to the top tier of London Wing Squadrons.
