An exciting summer camp season at RAF St Mawgan, Cornwall, saw a range of adventurous and aviation experiences for the Squadron’s cadets. Joining cadets from across London Wing, an extensive programme included visiting local attractions and the Newquay lifeboat team, as well as aviation visits to the Cornwall Air Ambulance and 771 Sea King Squadron at RNAS Culdrose.
For most, though, the highlight was the adventurous activities of the week – outdoors in the coastal terrain, including a spot of coasteering. Jumping from the cliffs in to the sea, and kayaking around the Cornish coast was a great way to end a fun-packed week.
Our thanks to the staff, led by Flt Lt Julian Weatherall as camp commandant.
