A group of 13 cadets and 3 staff from the Squadron kept smiling despite the terrible weather on their Christmas camp! Based at Crowborough Army camp, the group travelled to nearby Blacklands Farm for a host of exciting activities!
Although the weather did dampen some of the activities, the cadets were still able to have fun abseiling and rock climbing, as well as completing the low ropes and crate challenges!
The highlight of the camp was perhaps on the Saturday night when the staff surprised the cadets with a proper Christmas dinner in the mess – complete with crackers, party poppers and terrible jokes! Then it was competition time with our own version of the X-Factor, Christmas carol style. With chocolates and teddy bears as prizes, the competition was fierce!
Well done to all for keeping a positive despite the terrible weather. We will get to Blacklands in the warm weather soon!
